As PPTP is easy to set and its connection speed is comparatively fast, PPTP is a recommendable way of VPN connection.
Compared with PPTP, connection speed of L2PT/IPSec is a little slower, but degree of encryption is higher. Therefore, for customer who puts priority on security to data communication volume, L2PT/IPSec is a recommendable way of VPN connection.

Make sure of content of “Setting login” of CUP.COM.
- Touch “Settings” on “Main menu”

Touch “More settings”.

Touch “VPN”

Touch “Add VPN network”.

Touch “Type” and select “PPTP”or "L2TP/IPSec PSK".
Input as follows:
“Name”: String of characters whatever you like.
“Server address”: VPN Server IP address or hostname of the above ③
If "Type" is "PPTP", Touch “Save” button on the lower right.
If "Type" is "L2TP/IPSec PSK",
“IPsec pre-shared key”: ④Shared key, as defined in “Setting login” of CUP.COM
Touch “Save” button on the lower right.

Touch the added string pf characters.

Input as follows:
“User name”: User name of the above ①
“Password”: Password of the above ②
If Customer wants to skip User name and Password from the next time,
check “Save account information “.
Touch “Connect”.

When sign of “Connected” is shown, the connection is completed.
